A website with daily content about the Belgian nature.
While waiting for the release of the documentary series of ‘Onze Natuur’, you could already discover and experience the Belgian nature online.
On the website you could find exclusive images, behind-the-scenes footage, untold stories, tips on how to help nature, live cams, events, and a lot more. You will be convinced to put on your hiking boots and go outside, whether it is raining or not.
‘Onze Natuur’ wants to convince 11 million Belgians that we could be proud of what happens in nature in our own country. This way we want to strengthen the bond because only when you know what is out there, can you protect it.
My role
The online editors team was quite small, only a handful of people, so I often helped with brainstorming with other content or designing posters, books, social media posts, newsletters, or anything that needed a little bit of a (audio)visual touch.
My main job was providing the website with video content that I either filmed myself or created sneak peeks from the footage shot for the documentary. To create a more streamlined workflow, I developed motion graphics (for a consistent look) and ways to follow up on the many video projects for all the different partners.
Eventually, I was able to create some vlogs featuring myself and I really enjoy presenting. One video about mushrooms was quite successful and featured on the front page of HLN (although it remains a question whether Belgians enjoyed listening to a Dutchman).
